Laura Sim is an associate in the firm’s Food & Drug practice group in the Washington, DC office. She has advised drug, biologic, device, and food manufacturers and trade associations on a range of regulatory and consumer protection issues involving the Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Representative Matters
- Assisted a pharmaceutical industry client that has become the focus of government investigations concerning its manufacturing practices and sales and promotional practices.
- On behalf of food companies, prepared submissions to the US Department of Agriculture and US Food and Drug Administration related to food claims and regulation.
- Analyzed and drafted comments responding to proposed federal regulations that impact the food and drug industries.
